Working With Me

I live in Toronto, Canada - which is in the Eastern time zone. I am available for coaching sessions Monday through Thursday, between 10 am and 6:00 pm EST, unless we’ve made other arrangements. Most coaching sessions take place via Zoom or by phone but I am happy to meet in my west Toronto office if you are local. I am also willing to make onsite visits to your home or work if our schedules and locations permit. Travel charges will apply. 

 

I generally ask for a minimum 3-month commitment upfront with the opportunity to extend our coaching as needed. This gives us enough time to explore issues deeply and accomplish meaningful goals. I invoice each month in advance and request prompt payment. 

 

As a trained co-active coach, I specialize in helping people to break out of their unconscious “default” mode and consciously design their lives to feel more exciting and true. I do this by helping you to reframe challenges, and by providing you with tools that inspire you to take positive action toward your goals.

What is Co-Active Coaching?

The Co-Active® Coaching Model is one of  the most effective methods of coaching, using experiential tools to empower the creative leader within and to evoke transformational, lasting change across all areas of life.

 

Coactive Coaching begins by holding the coachee as naturally creative, resourceful and whole, and completely capable of finding their own answers to whatever challenges they face. The job of a Co-Active Coach® is to ask powerful questions, listen and empower to elicit the skills and creativity a client already possesses, rather than instruct or advise.

 

At its most basic, Co-Active means simply “being in action…together.” Or perhaps it might be more appropriate to say “being together…in action.” It is about ‘how we are’ and ‘what we do’ and the important connection between the two.

Expectations

As your coach, you can expect me to:

  1. Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you

  2. Provide safety, encouragement and support

  3. Create an environment in which you can relax and explore your thoughts and feelings

  4. Respect the confidentiality of the agreements we make

  5. Expand your view of what is possible and promote new insights

  6. Give you input, straight feedback and operate as a sounding board

  7. Listen carefully and ask questions that increase awareness

  8. Be an ongoing resource for you in accomplishing your intention.

I expect that you, as my client will:

  1. Cultivate a core honesty with yourself

  2. Commit yourself to intentions that are meaningful and significant to you

  3. Be open to my feedback

  4. Keep me honestly informed as to what is and is not working for you

  5. Take ownership for your progress and your accomplishments

  6. Take financial responsibility for your coaching time and give me at least 1 day of notice for a missed appointment. 
     

My belief is that you have the capacity and the inner resources to approach your current life situation in a way that transforms your ability to have more of what you want and with considerably less effort. I hold you as Naturally Creative, Resourceful & Whole by sharing tools with you that allow you to create consistent access to those inner resources.
